My Visit to the Davis House for 4th of July

Looks like Rexburg!
We ate 3 cookies at the end.

At dinner- Aren't they cute?

The best idea BYU-Idaho ever had was to give us a 4 day weekend for the 4th of July Holiday. I was extremely happy when I got to travel down to Salt Lake on Wed and hang out with Megan and Austin. They both had to work while I was visiting but I got to spend every night with them. Austin took me shooting- scary- and I got yelled at bc I was too weak to throw those clay "birds"... Austin was using his new camo shotgun. He yelled "PULL!".. I yelled... "I can't!" so Austin had to not only throw his own target, but quickly aim to fire. It was kinda funny, but Austin kinda wanted to kill me. We also had to search everywhere to find the Bureau of Land Management. It took us about and hour and then found out that we could have just printed something offline that would have worked just as good. Oh well. We did get some free Tattoos! We had fun though. Megan took me to do what I do best.. that's shopping. We did some damage in one store and then decided for our own safety we better stop there. I got to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house on wed. It was so beautiful. It was different from the others that i've seen. But it was still unique and so gorgeous. (as usual). One of my favorite parts of the trip was that I got to listen to the Prophet speak in church and even Shook HIS HAND! He's so cute and I love him. We got to see lots of fireworks and Megan made some great dinners.. even Austin made Hamburgers! I had lots of fun and plan on heading back in a couple of weeks. Love You Austin and Megan!

The Big Day!-Not mine.

This past week was pretty exciting! Whitney Perdue from Roanoke got married June 26th in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple! The whole week leading up to the wedding on friday was pretty stressful. Tuesday morning at 4:45 am I got an emergency call from Whitney that she needed help getting on her dress. ( I was with her when she bought it.. I sorta picked it out) They were taking pictures up at the temple prior to their sealing on friday. Being up at the temple at 5 am seemed alittle crazy, but it was SO worth it. The sun rise was beautiful and the way it hit the temple- was well.. worth getting up for. You can see in one of the pictures below of a sample of a few pictures that were taken. I was just there helping to make sure she looked amazing and that her dress looked great. I hope to be able to post more of those photos as soon as I can get my hands on them. There were 6 bridesmaids and I was one of them. We all got our own flowers! Her colors were black, cream, and teal. It was a great night of Dancing, Toasts, Cake, and... did I say.. DANCING!
