Hi Everyone! I know I haven't updated in a while, but oh well. I am officially a member of the REAMS family. Blaine and I were sealed in the Washington DC Temple on December the 11th 2010. My blog is a little messy, but we are trying to get some pictures up here for everyone to see. Also, we are celebrating Christmas this year in Yorktown and are currently enjoying over a foot of snow. Yippy! I feel like we are back in Idaho already. We are heading to Rexburg on the 31st and Blaine is excited to see the frozen tundra that I continue to complain about. Anyway, I hope to update soon and also put up pictures from our first Christmas together. :)
MORE PICTURES FROM THE RECEPTION ARE COMING!

Oye! esto es Lauren Davis. Déjeme un mensaje...

HELLO EVERYONE! It has been a long long 4 months since the last time that I have blogged. Typical- I know this. But there honestly isn't that much going on in my life but the normal College student crap. Anywho, So here is a little tiny update in my life. It is almost dead week here at BYUIdaho and I am DEAD. 18 credits sounded really cute in April but now it's July and this school thing isn't cute or funny anymore. So here is a quick recap of my last 3 months of life up here in the tundra... I went to Las Vegas during Memorial weekend. It was really fun to go on a trip with my best girlfriends and sloth around the pool all day long. It was nice and hot down there and we had a blast. Um.. the rest of these pictures are honestly random.. Pictures of Megan and I at the Civil Defense Caves to play glow in the dark - Hide and Go Seek, bowling, boring.. etc..etc... Also, I've been down to Megan and Austins house alot this semester. It's so nice to be able to drive a quick 3 hours and 20 mins to their house and be greeted with Megan's wonderful Smile and Austin's sassy comments like.. "You're back?" Haha but in all honesty Megan and Austin are too flippin nice to keep letting me come down there and have a home cooked meal, my own bed, and a laundry mat. Haha Last time I was down Megan put a note on my bed saying, "I love you! We missed you!" along with a overnight little surprise that included earplugs, eye mask, and lavander spray. ( I think they stole from a hotel on one of their recent road trips) I am spoiled by them and I'm very grateful for their LOVE. Anyway, Well school is out July 22nd and I fly home on July 25th. When I'm home i'll be doing classes online to insure my graduation date of April 2011. I will also being working at a law firm in Virginia for my internship. Okay well that's it!

Pool in Vegas

I met up with some friends from Virginia at the Coco Bean in Rexburg. Best cupcakes!

Me and my friend Carter at the Civil Defense Caves.. I think that's the sand dunes behind us.

Bowling on Campus

Meggle Bear. She surprised me before I could pose

In & Out Burger in Draper- On our way to Vegas

Bowling... Carter, Megs, and ME

Megan cut Carter's hair one night after convincing him for hours. I styled it. Ha ha

Temple in Las Vegas. It was so pretty and we were able to do baptisms there.

Weird

Carter and I in the back of some random peoples truck. There was a huge group who went to play hide and go seek. You obviously keep seeing pictures of me and my friend Carter. We are both Political Science Majors and have lots of classes together.

Lastly.. Me in Vegas :)

Lastly... This is to all of my siblings. I am putting together a project for school. If any of you have any pictures of us (the five kids or mom and dad) from back in the day or any pictures of all of us.. please email them to me. I need pictures.

Junior Year- BYU-Idaho

Hey Yall! I'm still kickin it in good ole Idaho. It's been a pretty crappy winter out here. But not Horrible. I think that it's funny that it snowed in every state in the continental US last weekend. Global Warming? Where the crap is Gore now? He's full of it. Anyway, I don't really have much to say- but that I'm still here and trying to get out of this joint asap. I'm currently taking Sociology, Policing in America, New Testament, Public Administration, and Agronomy. WOW agronomy sucks. I'm 1 of 4 girls in that class. All the boys in there are in camo and john deer hats. I feel so out of place. I'm just the cute blonde in the back who has no clue what noxious weeds are. This one day in class... we were doing a group project and we were standing in front of the class. My teacher decided that he was going to completely grill me on the difference between the "researchers view and the farm owners view on plant sustainability and research" uhhhhh Whhaaaa?? Excuse me? So i answered him with some bull crap on organic foods and using non chemical fertilization like fish guts... hahahahah anyway.. i said.. "Is that good?" and he smiled and said.. "uh.. yeah" and so i kicked my leg in the air (like a true captain of the cheerleading squad would... ) I told him that I'm still learning and he said.." Okay now.. don't be a cheerleader.. go sit down."

Anyway, One more quick story. So on Saturday my roommate and I were going to Subway and I was driving down main street and a car was driving down the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD! towards me! haha it was scary/funny. I would usually start yelling and go off on some road rage language but i started laughing because he legit thought he was doing the right thing. (Picture above)

I also met up with Kayleen and katilin White. Old friends from Bama. It was fun to talk about the good ole times in Roberstdale, AL :)

Last but not least...

I was in Utah for Valentines Day and I went with Austin and Megan to church. I was crossing my fingers that President Monson would be there and...... HE WAS! This was the second time that i got to see him at church and I'm always amazed. He is just so wonderful and I love him. After Sacrament meeting I really wanted to go shake his hand again- but i didn't want to bother him. He is always hurrying back to his wife. But I HAD to go see him. So, I went up to him and he said.. "Is it Valentines Day today?" I shook my head yes and he said. "Well, Then happy valentines day. " and he shook my hand. Ahhhh It was the best Valentines i've ever had. :)

Quick blog

For all my sibling who now think it's cool to have "private blogs"... I don't like it... B/c when i try to "stay connected" with my family I get this message....

"It doesn't look like you have been invited to read this blog. If you think this is a mistake, you might want to contact the blog author and request an invitation."

Which means in my language... "It doesn't look like anyone likes you enough to invite you to be a part of their lives. If you think this is a mistake, You are wrong.. this was done on purpose. If you want to contact the blog author, good luck, because they don't give a crap about your request to have an invitation."

Merry Christmas-

Lauren

I am Alive!

I wanted to start this post by dedicating these pictures to Josh T. King. Who accused me of looking at inappropriate new moon trailers at his house. hahahaha Jacob and Edward are hott! So this post will be up for another 6 months!

Don't be mad Josh.. Nickie thinks your hotter.

These are the Girls that I work with at the Store. :) Black Friday. P.S. we made Julie wear the crown and snowy scarf.

It was Freezing. But this was Thanksgiving day. I wore my AFI shirt. I was number 403 There were over 7,000 people running in the Drumstick Dash. This is the Rescue Mission behind me. I've served food to the homeless there a few times.

The National in Richmond, Va. AFI concert.

I got my Bike License. J/k but i do want it.

My LOVE! Davey. This was during the Opening Song.

Setting up stage.

After work. hahahaha j/k i jacked up moms hair and then took a picture. I love her.

My new wig. Ha We were in walmart and there were halloween wigs 90% off. I wore it until we saw a lady from church and then I was so embarrased that i took it off.

Hello- I am alive. I've been the biggest bum when it comes to updating my blog. Like I've always said... what do I have to blog about? I'm not that interesting. But I will at least update a tiny bit of life from the past 4 or so months. I turned 21 in October.. that's pretty cool. I woke up and went straight to the ABC store .. so that was pretty cool. I drove Dads rental car too.I honestly had the best birthday i've ever had in a LONG time. Daddy took me to see AFI- One of my favorite bands. I've wanted to see them for a LONG time. They were amazing Live. I got their brand new album about a month before the concert and so i rocked out at the concert. Dad looked a little scared during the mosh pit. hahahahah I love him. The opener for AFI were some weirdo europeans with ALOT of feelings. But it was worth it! i got a shirt with the tour dates on the back. It had 10/19 on the back. My BIRTHDAY! We also stood outside for 3 hours in the freezing while we waited for the band to come out. I got my shirt signed by all the members of the band. Dad even got his ticket signed by Davey the main singer. Ha Davey was surprised to see Dad as a Fan. Thanks Dad again for sacraficing a nights sleep so that you could get punched and pushed, while sweating. :) Novemeber brought another Birthday(s) Jinny and Gnickie. They are SO old. So I decided to not post their ages. I didn't buy anybody any presents. I'm sorry. Tuition went up at BYU-Idaho. It went up from $1.00 to now $2.00. So.. I'm a little screwed. Um... I did at least write a song for Gnickie for her birthday. I called her and sang it to her.. here it is-

Yo My Girl Nickie...

This is your Birthday Rap.
If you don't like it....
Well tough Crap.

Yo my girl Nickie
It's your Big Day

I didn't get you a Gift

So i'm sorry, that's gay

At least you got Panda and my Crab AK

Remember that time- we grew up on the Mobile Bay.

All day long, Your the Motha Freakin Queen

You've got the hottest Bo-dy that I have ever Seen.

So enjoy your birthday, Your only 27
Wow, Having a sister like me must be like Heaven.

Also November was THANKSGIVING. It was fun. Mom and I had a HUGE feast. We just finished leftovers like 2 days ago. ha. My best friend Megan Turnmire flew in for the holiday and We got to run another 5k together. It was the Drumstick Dash-Move your Feet so Others can Eat! it was for a good cause and we KILLED IT! ha We ran all through the streets of Downtown Roanoke. Live music and lots of HILLS! hahah We had a blast. We want to maybe do a half marathon this summer.
Decemeber brings lots of hours at the store... work, work , and more Work. But soon i'll be in Idaho. I fly out of Roanoke on December 31st. moms bday. :( but anyway... that's my life.
