Junior Year- BYU-Idaho

Hey Yall! I'm still kickin it in good ole Idaho. It's been a pretty crappy winter out here. But not Horrible. I think that it's funny that it snowed in every state in the continental US last weekend. Global Warming? Where the crap is Gore now? He's full of it. Anyway, I don't really have much to say- but that I'm still here and trying to get out of this joint asap. I'm currently taking Sociology, Policing in America, New Testament, Public Administration, and Agronomy. WOW agronomy sucks. I'm 1 of 4 girls in that class. All the boys in there are in camo and john deer hats. I feel so out of place. I'm just the cute blonde in the back who has no clue what noxious weeds are. This one day in class... we were doing a group project and we were standing in front of the class. My teacher decided that he was going to completely grill me on the difference between the "researchers view and the farm owners view on plant sustainability and research" uhhhhh Whhaaaa?? Excuse me? So i answered him with some bull crap on organic foods and using non chemical fertilization like fish guts... hahahahah anyway.. i said.. "Is that good?" and he smiled and said.. "uh.. yeah" and so i kicked my leg in the air (like a true captain of the cheerleading squad would... ) I told him that I'm still learning and he said.." Okay now.. don't be a cheerleader.. go sit down."

Anyway, One more quick story. So on Saturday my roommate and I were going to Subway and I was driving down main street and a car was driving down the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD! towards me! haha it was scary/funny. I would usually start yelling and go off on some road rage language but i started laughing because he legit thought he was doing the right thing. (Picture above)

I also met up with Kayleen and katilin White. Old friends from Bama. It was fun to talk about the good ole times in Roberstdale, AL :)

Last but not least...

I was in Utah for Valentines Day and I went with Austin and Megan to church. I was crossing my fingers that President Monson would be there and...... HE WAS! This was the second time that i got to see him at church and I'm always amazed. He is just so wonderful and I love him. After Sacrament meeting I really wanted to go shake his hand again- but i didn't want to bother him. He is always hurrying back to his wife. But I HAD to go see him. So, I went up to him and he said.. "Is it Valentines Day today?" I shook my head yes and he said. "Well, Then happy valentines day. " and he shook my hand. Ahhhh It was the best Valentines i've ever had. :)

  2. We miss you too Lu! The girls are 7 months today. And all they asked for was their Aunt LuLu. Or as their dad teaches them...Aunt Bucket :)

Sounds like you are having way too much fun at school.
